UMAREX PAC 1100 Portable PCP Air Compressor

The PAC 1100 sits right in the middle of the portable compressor lineup, offering proper filling performance without going fully into “drag it around on a trolley” territory. It’s designed for both home use and off-grid setups, with the ability to run from mains power or a 12V vehicle connection.

In simple terms, it’s for people who want one compressor that can live in the workshop but still come out when needed.

Key Features

• Dual power input: 230V mains or 12V vehicle connection
• High output 11 L/min (FAD) inflation rate
• Maximum pressure up to 300 BAR
• Oil-free and water-free operation
• Adjustable auto shut-off (1 BAR increments)
• Overheat protection system
• Replaceable filter sponge
• Foster quick disconnect fill system
• Multi-adapter compatibility (1/8″, M10, M10x1)

Performance / Use Case

This is where things start to feel properly capable. With an 11 L/min flow rate, the PAC 1100 is fast enough for full cylinder fills up to 3 litres, not just topping up.

It works well as a home workshop compressor, but the 12V option means you can also run it from a vehicle when needed, which is useful for range days or remote use. Just don’t expect miracles from a standard car battery if you’re doing repeated full fills.

Compared to smaller portable units, this is a step up in both speed and workload capacity. Compared to larger compressors, it’s still manageable enough to move without planning your day around it.

Build & Design

At 10.2kg, it’s pushing the upper end of “portable”, but still reasonable if you’re not carrying it miles. The compact, boxy layout makes it easy to store and transport in a vehicle or workshop.

The interface is clean and functional, with digital controls for pressure setting and monitoring. Safety systems include automatic shut-off and thermal protection, both essential given the output level.

Noise sits around 72 dB, which is fairly typical for this class, noticeable, but not unbearable.
